Stewart Court is the most recent CTS provision which opened in April 2016. It offers robust therapeutic residential accommodation and care for people with intellectual/learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in the Bristol area. There are three houses at Stewart Court. House 1 and House 3 each have three individual flats. Each flat has its own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge and garden. House 2 has a flat upstairs and downstairs there are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with the lounge, dining room and kitchen being shared spaces. House 2 also has a large shared garden. We actively promote dignity and privacy for all of the people who use the service. Stewart Court is named in honour of Michael and Alison Stewart who both worked at CTS, and whom remain in our thoughts each day.
Miss Catherine Loring is the Registered Manager.
Catherine is the Registered Manager at Stewart Court. She has been working for CTS since August 2018. She has over 16 years experience working in the health and social care sector, supporting individuals affected by learning disabilities, mental health needs and those with complex health needs. She strongly believes that all individuals receiving a support or care service should be at the centre of their care, with their needs and wishes at the heart of the service they receive. In conjunction with this she considers it imperative that those providing the care are fully supported, trained and included as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes possible.
Catherine has successfully completed her NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and is currently working towards a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management. Catherine has started the BTEC in Positive Behaviour Support.
Stewart Court is situated in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol. It is close to many local amenities including a large shopping centre at Cribbs Causeway.
