Stewart Court

Stewart Court is the most recent CTS provision which opened in April 2016. It offers robust therapeutic residential accommodation and care for people with intellectual/learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in the Bristol area. There are three houses at Stewart Court. House 1 and House 3 each have three individual flats. Each flat has its own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge and garden. House 2 has a flat upstairs and downstairs there are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with the lounge, dining room and kitchen being shared spaces. House 2 also has a large shared garden. We actively promote dignity and privacy for all of the people who use the service. Stewart Court is named in honour of Michael and Alison Stewart who both worked at CTS, and whom remain in our thoughts each day.

Ms Kym Thomas is the Registered Manager at Stewart Court.

Kym has 15 years experience in the Health and Social Care Sector, holds a NVQ L5 in Health and Social Care, LMI Business Management and a wealth of other relevant qualifications.  Kym has been appointed to the post of  Manager from July 2021, Kym’s previous roles include the Probation Service, Prison Service, Respite Manager, Business Manager, Branch and Registered Manager. Kym has worked with people of all ages from children to adults who may use behaviour to support their communication to older people who are living with medical conditions such as Dementia and Parkinson’s

Kym is passionate about improving and building on the appropriate care and support for individuals by giving them a person-centred approach. To work closely with our team enabling them to achieve best possible practises. Kym is committed to supporting the Team at Stewart Court to develop in the specialised areas, that they are dealing with on a daily basis, and nurture them into the best support workers with the passion to progress in their career.
