The PBS framework we use was developed by the PBS Coalition UK. It seeks to understand the context and meaning of behaviour in order to inform the development of supportive environments and skills that can enhance a person’s quality of life.
We provide accommodation and personal care (but not nursing care) for adults over the age of 18 years old who may have intellectual/learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or acquired brain injury, and who may use behaviour to support their communication.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide our personal care and support services in an individual’s own home where they will have their own tenancy agreement.
CTS aims to provide ethically driven outstanding care through therapeutic opportunities and good relational security in the least restrictive way. Our mission is to deliver safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led care by providing the “right care in the right place at the right time”. We provide a therapeutic community service that offers a “different level of care”.
